We're Hiring: Maintenance Fitter - Steel Industry!

Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter looking to take on a new challenge? We're seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and skilled Maintenance Fitter to support our operations by performing breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks across our steel production plant.

This role offers a great balance of support and autonomy, allowing you to manage your own work while contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns through effective fault-finding and repairs
• Overhaul and maintain fixed plant and operational equipment
• Provide detailed feedback via the maintenance management system for tracking and improvement
• Adhere to quality and safety processes while completing all tasks

We're Looking for Someone Who:

• Holds a Certificate III in Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
• Has a background in industrial manufacturing (preferred)
• Demonstrates hands-on experience with overhauling fixed plant equipment
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Has a strong safety focus, a can-do attitude, and excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Forklift and EWP tickets are highly regarded, but not essential
