We are seeking an experienced trades person to take on a key role in coordinating maintenance down days. If you have a background as a fitter or electrician, along with experience in maintenance planning and coordination, this could be a great fit for you.

This isn't just another desk job. You'll be in the thick of orchestrating mechanical and electrical work, managing contractors, and keeping the critical path on track to ensure a safe and efficient turnaround. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as you'll be responsible for keeping the plan on track and making real-time adjustments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with maintenance supervisors to understand and execute the down-day plan
• Ensure all permits, licenses, and training requirements are squared away
• Co-ordinate Electricians, Fitters, Boilermakers, Contractors, and Operations teams
• Run down-day meetings, drive execution, and handle shifting priorities
• Supervise safety systems and make sure everything runs by the book
• Get the plant back up and running on time, every time

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• A background in mechanical or electrical trades (planning experience is a plus).
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the confidence to coordinate teams and make decisions.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

Work Schedule:

• 4-day work week - 3 x 8-hour days, plus a 14-hour shift on down-day.
