About the Role

Our client is Australia's only fully vertically integrated steel manufacturer, this company covers scrap metal recycling, steel production, and downstream distribution. As a leader in sustainable steel manufacturing, it plays a key role in building strong local communities and economies. With a significant onshore infrastructure network and operations at over 150 locations nationwide, it drives innovation across recycling, manufacturing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of welders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Perform MIG and TIG welding and metal fabrication tasks
• Assist with general labouring and site clean-up as needed
• Follow instructions from managers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a safe and organised workspace

Skills & Experience

• Relevant trade qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience
• Proficiency in MIG & TIG welding techniques is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift 15kg+ unaided
• Own transport and a valid driver's licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screening and Medical Assessment
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
