About the role.

We have an exciting and rewarding support opportunity to share with you. Located in Newington, you will be part of a 24/7 care team to supporting a male infant . You will provide full assistance personal cares, medication administration, meal preparation and feeding assistance, and many other duties. An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your transition.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker, who can undertake the following key responsibilities,

• Personal Cares
• Pressure area care and skin integrity support
• Medication Administration
• Tracheostomy & Ventilator Management
• Suctioning
• Enteral Feeding
• Manual handling
• Organisation of stock and ordering

About you.

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or above (relevant care certificates may also be considered)
• Specific Disability / Complex Care experience (minimum 2 years experience)
• Manual handling certificate and experience (essential)
• Paediatric experience (desirable)
• Current First aid and CPR
• Yellow Card/NDIS Worker's Screening Check
• NDIS Orientation Module
• English Fluency - verbal and written
