About the Role:
Our client, a well respected not for profit organization, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Order Fulfillment Supervisor, for their team in Canberra. In this key role, you will oversee the daily operations of the depot team, ensuring the efficient delivery of vital products that make a positive impact on communities. You will play a pivotal role in inventory management, staff supervision, and ensuring operational excellence within a mission driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the depot team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products in accordance with customer orders and schedules.
  • Conduct daily supply planning with the Order Fulfillment Manager, managing inventory requirements and addressing any gaps.
  • Oversee stock management, ensuring proper storage, handling, and cycle counts according to quality standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, optimizing skills and ensuring staff competency.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to foster a motivated and high performing team.
  • Manage team rosters, schedules, and leave, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with the Order Fulfillment Manager to develop staff rosters and work schedules, ensuring customer service excellence.
  • Conduct daily team huddles to communicate priorities and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Ensure seamless shift handovers and manage any operational changes or adjustments.
  • Monitor and drive team performance, ensuring operations are aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work with cross functional teams to resolve procedural deviations and improve operational processes.
  • Provide quality oversight and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Maintain accurate records and respond to internal/external audits in collaboration with the Quality and Scientific teams.
  • Ensure a customer focused approach, working closely with internal stakeholders to meet service delivery expectations.
  • Build effective communication within the team and across departments to resolve issues and enhance performance.


What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within order fulfillment, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control, and operational processes.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team performance.
  • Passion for customer service and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving abilities.
  • Australian Driver's licence
  • Candidates should be permanent residents or citizens of Australia.
