About our client

Our client is a global leader dedicated to making serious progress in the sustainable packaging and recycling industries. They are Australia and New Zealand's largest manufacturer of recycled glass bottles and jars. The Position

We are seeking experienced production workers with a valid forklift license. This position follows a rotating roster, so you must to be willing to work day, afternoon and night shifts. Applicants should have experience operating a forklift and be proficient in using computer systems.

Role

  • Repetitive production work.
  • Operating forklift equipment safely.
  • Machine operation.
  • Monitoring alarms and re setting LGV's.
  • Controlling stock movements via LGV software.
  • Assessing pallet condition and subsequent repairs.
  • Carry out all tasks safely, utilising safe manual handling techniques.
  • Flexibility to work shift work - Day, Afternoon, and Night shift.
  • Following strict WHS policies and procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Current forklift licence.
  • Experience in a busy production environment.
  • Previous experience working towards KPIs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physically fit and healthy.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
