MAINTENANCE LEADING HAND - ELECTRICIAN

WORK HOURS:

  • Monday to Friday - 6 am to 4 pm
  • Fulltime, Permanent position

YOUR ROLE

This role demands a dynamic mix of leadership and hands-on technical expertise, involving maintenance tasks such as overseeing schedules, implementing preventative measures, and working directly with electrical systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing maintenance schedules and implementing proactive and preventative maintenance measures.
  • Working hands-on with electrical systems, with a strong mechanical aptitude to support mechanical fitters as needed.
  • PLC fault finding and troubleshooting, motor control systems, conveyor systems, and both LV and HV experience are essential.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES:

  • Candidates with proven industrial or FMCG maintenance electrician experience, showcasing a strong mechanical aptitude. (Wineries, mining, agriculture we are open to candidates from these sectors)
  • Experience with PLC fault finding, motor control, conveyor systems, low voltage (LV), and high voltage (HV) systems is crucial for this role along with proven leadership experience and strong mechanical aptitude.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Australian recognised trade qualification as an electrician
  • A Grade electrical license in South Australia
  • Leadership experience and strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Minimum 3 years of industry/manufacturing/FMCG experience
  • Forklift, confined space, EWP, Switching all desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
