About the role.

As Service Advisor, reporting to the Service Manager, with work in a team of 3 Service Advisors and 9 technicians. You will be responsible for understanding the customer vehicle concerns, translating those into repair orders for the technicians and explaining the necessary work and associated costs back to the customer, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience.

Your key responsibilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling online and phone bookings.
  • Greeting customers, checking customers in and listening to their vehicle issues.
  • Advising of additional work and quoting the customer.
  • Addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Communication with technicians.
  • Finalising all paperwork and filing.


About you.

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role (automotive, retail, or service-based industries preferred)
  • Experience in an automotive dealership or mechanical workshop (highly regarded)
  • Basic understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes.
  • Experience handling face-to-face and phone enquiries professionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain technical information in simple terms
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Confidence in handling customer concerns or complaints
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, calendar scheduling)
