About the role

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to provide person centered support for an individual requiring 2:1 support living in their family home in the Salisbury area.

We are looking for applicants who are available for day and evening shifts and have experience providing support for clients with Traumatic Brain Injuries and have experience working with high and complex care clients and / or behaviour management.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Workers who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Manual Handling
• Personal Care
• Medication Administration
• Community Engagement and Social Support
• Domestic Assistance
• Allied Health led therapy program
• Positive Behaviour Support

About you

To join our team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent required
• Full South Australian Driver's Licence and reliable car
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certification
• Current CPR Certification
• Manual Handling Certification
• Assist with Medication Certification

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused. We are looking for support workers who can commit to 2-3 shifts per week as a minimum.
