Our client is based in Brisbane's Northern suburbs and is a well-known & respected family business who have been operating for over 40 years.

What you will do

• Efficiently plan and allocate transport resources to meet customer requirements.
• Allocate fleet to maximise efficiency and minimise costs
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, internal teams and multple sites
• Keep accurate records and maintain our customised transport system
• Monitor driver performance throughout the day and always ensure adherence to safety
• Report directly to the Operations Manager

What we are looking for

• Must have proven experience in transport allocation or similar logistics role
• A history of working with or within the civil construction industry is highly regarded
• Strong geographical understanding of SEQ area and surrounding areas
• Proficiency in using transport management systems, ours is custom to our business and full training will be provided
• Team members with a love of working in fast paced, sometimes stressful but very supportive & rewarding environments
• Ability to co-ordinate multi drop deliveries
• An understanding of the Chain of Command and Fatigue management
