THE COMPANY
Our client is a proudly Australian company, with over 50 years of experience in the business of acoustic and thermal insulation. They are growing rapidly and looking to add to their team, with opportunities for career progression.

THE ROLE
This is a role that includes manual installation and removal of acoustic and thermal insulation. It also requires the operation of machinery equipment under supervisory direction. This position is a hands-on role that must work in line with company OH&S plans, procedures, policies, as well as the company customer service expectations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Carry out all works in a safe and timely manner, while providing excellent customer service.
- Install/fit different type of insulation to walls, ceilings and floors on all sites; including board, wraps, panels and other insulating materials.
- Perform any spray/paint/masking/carpentry work as required to a high standard.
- Measure and cut different types of insulation from Batts to PIR board.
- Removal of old insulation, as required - following safety procedures.
- Documenting/recording of job information using various platforms.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- A good level of fitness.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Red/White Card (preferred).
- First Aid Certificate (preferred).
- Certificate 3 in Wall and Ceiling Lining - Australian Government Insulation Installer Certification Ticket (preferred).
- Mathematical skills to work out cavity space sizes (if/when needed) and material requirements.
