RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee and supervise the daily operations of the electrical department, working closely with the Mechanical Supervisor to ensure the site's maintenance needs are met. Your role will include:

  • Providing ongoing electrical support to the production team, ensuring the upkeep of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime.
  • Performing routine electrical tests, completing planned maintenance, and addressing breakdowns promptly.
  • Overseeing and supporting the installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and quality across all electrical operations.
  • Mentoring and guiding the electrical team, promoting best practices, safety standards, and professional development.

THE ROLE

This is a full-time, permanent position based on a 35-hour working week, with overtime available.
The role offers flexible start times and requires availability for a minimum of two Saturdays per month, with additional weekends as needed.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally you will have:

  • Electrical trade qualifications with a current NSW Electrical Licence.
  • Solid experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a maintenance team
  • Strong leadership qualities and a passion for developing junior team members.
  • Exposure to automated systems, PLCs, and drives is advantageous.
  • A commitment to workplace safety, quality, and efficiency
