THE ROLE

As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure safety and maximise production efficiency. Your proactive approach to safety, teamwork, and problem-solving will help drive success in this critical position.

THE SHIFT

AFTERNOON SHIFT: 2:00PM - 12:00AM (Monday to Friday) $57.60/Hr + Super

NIGHT SHIFT: 10:00PM - 6:00AM (Monday to Friday) $62.40/Hr + Super

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks across a range of machinery.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine checks and planned maintenance activities.
• Assist in fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs of machinery.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and fabricate components when needed.
• Accurately record maintenance activities using CMMS (MEX).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering - Fitting/Machining.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing, FMCG or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Strong communication skills and a team first attitude.
• Own vehicle, driver's licence and tools.
