Disability Support Worker
Location: Colignan, VIC
Work Type: Part Time / Regular Shift Patterns
Pay Rate: $36-40/hour

This Disability Support Worker opportunity offers consistent weekly day shifts that fit your life, weekly pay, paid training and a structured onboarding program. You'll join a dedicated care team supporting a young female client living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in her home and local community. Rather than moving between multiple clients, you'll work closely with one client on a regular basis, building trust, routine and a meaningful long-term relationship while helping her maintain independence, participate in the community and achieve her goals. The Role: Disability Support Worker
Join a supportive care team delivering support to a young female client living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Shift Pattern:

  • 2 weekdays per week, 10:00am - 5:00pm (ongoing)

In this role, you will:

  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Support community access and social participation
  • Assist with planning, routine building and problem-solving
  • Administer medication
  • Attend therapy appointments
  • Prepare meals and complete light domestic duties
  • Work collaboratively with the client, family, therapists and broader support team

What You'll Bring

  • Previous disability support and personal care experience
  • Experience supporting clients with TBI, ABI, neurological conditions or complex support needs highly regarded
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Medication Administration Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle preferred
  • Right to work in Australia
