About the role:
We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant skilled in general, cosmetic, and orthodontic dentistry. Located in Melbourne's inner east, your key responsibilities include assisting in various treatments, maintaining a clean and sterile environment, ensuring patient comfort as well as general admin duties.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within dental services in Australia.
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Availability for part-time or full-time, Tues & Weds availability
• Cert III in Dental Assisting or equivalent

Your key responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

• Welcoming patients, updating patient records, patients preparation for all dental treatments, and facilitating efficient patient flow
• Instrument Sterilisation and setup to maintain a safe environment & disinfect and prepare treatment rooms
• Performing basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries when required
• Supporting infection control protocols
• Assisting dentist during examinations and procedures
• Promoting a positive and professional image of the practice by providing excellent customer service to patients

About you:

As a Dental Assistant, you will have the following requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience
• Cert III in Dental Assisting or or equivalent qualification preferred
• Current police check
• 100 points of ID
• Working With Children Check
• Working rights
• Covid vaccination
• First aid/ CPR- Preferred but not mandatory
• 2 current reference checks
