Our client is a locally trusted partner that has built a strong reputation in manufacturing customised wooden cases to travel on the road/flight across the globe. Built with the highest quality grade materials, each box is constructed unique to the client with precision and care.

They are seeking a Trade assistants / General Hands (previous tools experience essential) and a Cabinet Maker (previous carpentry experence essential) to be part of their warehouse team - Monday to Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.

The Role:

You will be working to assist with warehouse duties in supporting the manufacturing and production of wooden storage containers. This is an all-rounder position completing various warehouse tasks throughout the day. Other tasks may include:

Cabinet Maker

• Build custom cases from 3D CAD designs using tablets
• Cut and drill aluminium hardware with electric hand tools
• Assemble CNC-cut plywood and hardware using hand drills, rivet guns, and band saws
• Cut and glue foam inserts for case interiors
• Collaborate with the team to address challenges and improve processes
• Conduct quality checks on fellow team members' work

Trades Assistant/General Hand

• Preparation of Materials
• Operating Basic Hand Tools
• Laminating Foam
• Operation of Machinery where required (CNC, Drilling Machine, Mitre Saw)
• Full Training Provided

Essential Criteria:

• Understanding of power tools and material handling
• Good communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Punctual and reliable
• Basic computer skills
• Wood handling experience A MUST
• Previous carpentry experience essential for Cabinet Maker role
• Previous hand tools experience for Trades Assistant/General Hand roles
• General warehouse experience ideal
• General labouring experience
• Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Comfortable moving and lifting 15-20kg
• Reliable and hardworking
• Available to work Monday to Friday
• Complete and clear a pre-employment medical screening (D&A screen included)
