THE ROLE

Our client offers an extensive selection of specialty chemical solutions designed to cater to various industrial needs. Their diverse product range is tailored for applications such as metalworking fluids, glass industry processes, transportation, engineering, and overhaul operations.

They are looking for a Customer Service Officer to deliver outstanding customer service, managing a high volume of phone calls and emails. The role involves resolving customer issues and serving as the primary point of contact for our Sales team and Representatives regarding administration and customer inquiries.

DUTIES

  • Manage the entire process of customer orders, from entry to picking, posting, and invoicing.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all customer service phone calls, addressing inquiries efficiently.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of segmented accounts.
  • Ensure the effective management and availability of office supplies and staff amenities to support business operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Prior experience in phone-based customer service within the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP system.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Emphasis on precision and keen attention to detail.
