About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to manage one of our community care programs.

You will be working in the clients home in Unley to support our client and the current support staff, the remainder of time you will be based in our Adelaide office.

This role is a full time position.

This role will be ideal for someone who has hands on experience in an acute setting and is looking to advance their career into coordination and management while working closely with the client.

  • Confidence to deliver training and mentorship for our frontline healthcare workers
  • First point of call for clinical advice and enquiries
  • Conducting occasional shifts within the roster to support client
  • Assisting staff with managing and troubleshooting tracheostomy and ventilator
  • Be on-site at the clients home for contact and support
  • Must have sound understanding and demonstrated experience managing tracheostomies and ventilators
  • Exposure to individuals with spinal cord injuries and acquired disabilities
  • Possess an approachable leadership style that encourages communication and collaboration with specialists, allied health professionals and frontline support workers

The successful applicant will partner with our current Clinical Coordinator as well as our National Clinical team to ensure success in this role.

  • Full South Australian Driver's Licence
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Clearance
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Medication Certificate
