About the role

We are specifically seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to provide in-home care for our young clients living in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide.
We require candidates with professional experience in caring for children with autism, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD, along with skills in behaviour management. We are looking for passionate, friendly, and empathetic support workers to help support our young clients.

Please ensure you have relevant experience working with children before applying.

Duties:

• Personal Care
• Assisting with ADL's
• Medication Administration
• Community Access and Transportation
• Social support

About you:

• Australian Driver's License, reliable car & comprehensive car insurance
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid certification
• Current CPR certification
• Manual Handling certification
• Assist with Medication Certification
• English fluency - verbal and written

In addition:

• Must have sound understanding of the disability industry and providing person-centred support to children
• Must have experience working with child-aged clients
• Passionate about supporting independence and providing in-home support
• Reliable and honest people with the ability to adapt to new environments
• Be available across 7 days a week and be able to commit to 2-3 shifts per week
