Our client is one of Australia's leading primary healthcare providers with over 60 clinics located throughout metropolitan and regional centres, comprising medical centres and four dedicated skin clinics.

They have a long history in providing healthcare services, with a team of dedicated doctors, nurses and staff who are genuinely passionate about the health and well-being of their patients.

Their services span all aspects of primary healthcare from general health assessments, pediatrics, travel medicine, skin checks, and chronic disease health assessments and management including diabetes and asthma.

In many locations they also offer allied health services which will continue to expand, together with occupational health services.

They are seeking a full-time Assistant Practice Manager (2IC) to work 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will receive comprehensive training, including a full orientation, online compliance training, and ongoing support from the onsite Practice Manager.

In this role, you will:

  • Enhance Administrative Efficiency: Assist with administrative and reception functions, ensuring a patient experience aligned with our core values.
  • Support Leadership: Step into the Practice Manager role during their absence, providing seamless leadership and continuity.
  • Advance Your Career: Ideal for a current 2IC or an experienced Medical Receptionist ready to take the next step.

  • Previous 2IC Experience: Highly valued for the role.
  • Medical Receptionist Background: Essential for this position.
  • Knowledge of Medical Practice Operations: Understanding of general business functions.
  • Leadership and Teamwork Skills: Ability to inspire and guide others.
  • Outstanding Customer Service: Committed to ethical practices and conduct.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent in both verbal and written forms.
  • Intermediate Computer Proficiency: Adept with necessary software and tools.
