Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Impact: Drive the Customer First Strategy across the organization, inspiring a customer-centric approach in all areas.
  • Strategic Leadership: Manage and mentor the Customer Service Team Leader, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Innovate and Improve: Stay ahead of industry trends, developing and implementing cutting-edge customer service practices.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Department, ensuring high standards in service delivery, complaint resolution, and customer satisfaction.
  • Community Connection: Serve as a vital link between Council and the community, making sure that our services meet the needs and expectations of our diverse customer base.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Tertiary qualification in a customer-related field or business, combined with extensive relevant experience.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive organizational change with a focus on customer-first outcomes.
  • Problem-solving: Expertise in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and resolve conflicts, ensuring win-win outcomes.
  • Compliance: Valid National Police Check, Victorian Working with Children Check, and a valid driver's licence.
