About the role


Are you an Assistant in Nursing or a Nursing student? Are you looking for a role where you can utilise your skillset, build on your knowledge, and challenge yourself? Then we want to hear from you! We are currently looking for compassionate, knowledgeable, and caring support workers to join our growing team! As a disability support worker, you will work alongside Allied Health and Nursing teams to implement and maintain the clients personalised care and support needs, working towards each individual short- and long-term goals.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Workers who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

  • Personal Care including skin integrity management and pressure area care
  • Assisting with ADL's
  • Medication Administration
  • Manual Handling
  • Supporting the client to access the community
  • Behavioural Management
  • Domestic duties

About you

To join our team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Full WA Driver's Licence and Reliable car
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification
  • Manual Handling Certification
  • Assist with Medication Certification
  • English Fluency - verbal and written
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent required

Essential Experience

  • Experience with Tracheostomy's
  • Experience with Ventilator's
  • Experience with Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client focused. We are looking for support workers who can commit to 2-3 shifts per week as a minimum.
