About the role:

Located just outside Perth CBD, our client is seeking dedicates and passionate Enrolled or Registered Nurses, to work alongside a highly recognised Private Hospital. You will provide full assistance of personal care, medication administration, feeding assistance, manual handling tasks and transfers.

Your key responsibilities:

Our team is looking for a dedicated Disability Support Worker who will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Personal Care
• Pressure area care and skin integrity support
• Catheter, bowel care experience
• Completion of transfers including bed to commode and commode to wheelchair, with the use of a mobile hoist/ lifter
• Manual handling including repositioning, pushing/ pulling wheelchair, and commode within the client home
• Understanding the management of Dysphagia

About you:

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or above (relevant care certificates may also be considered)
• Specific Disability / Complex Care experience (minimum 2 years experience)
• Manual handling certificate and experience (essential)
• Current First aid and CPR
• Yellow Card/NDIS Worker's Screening Check
• NDIS Orientation Module
• English Fluency - verbal and written
• Experience working with challenging behaviours - highly desirable
• Catheter Care, Stoma Care, PEG Care - highly desirable
• Tracheostomy/Ventilator Experience - highly desirable
• Traumatic or Acquired Barin Injury experience - highly desirable
• Palliative Care experience - highly desirable
