Our client has multiple opportunities available for experienced Forklift Drivers across their Ingleburn and Villawood sites. These roles suit reliable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Please note these positions involve approximately 70% manual handling of large, bulky building products and materials and 30% high reach forklift operation. Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding duties throughout their shift.

Key Responsibilities

You will be working within warehouse and production environments, assisting with day-to-day operations. Duties may include:

  • Operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Moving raw materials and finished goods throughout the site
  • Manual handling of large and bulky building products
  • Putaways, replenishments, and stock movements
  • Picking and staging orders for dispatch
  • Conducting pre-start equipment checks
  • Assisting with inventory control and stock accuracy
  • General warehouse housekeeping and maintenance
  • Adhering to all site safety procedures and policies

Essential Criteria

  • Current LF Forklift Licence
  • Previous high reach forklift driving experience
  • Experience working within warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments
  • Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling of large and bulky items
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Reliable transport and punctual attendance
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test

Additional Requirements

  • Successful candidates will be required to participate in ongoing random Drug & Alcohol testing conducted onsite.
  • Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all site safety procedures.

Desirable

  • Experience working within manufacturing or building products environments
  • RF scanning and warehouse management system experience
