About the Role

In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients from admission to discharge. You'll manage theatre lists, billing, and patient records while providing outstanding service to patients, clinicians, and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating patient admissions and theatre schedules

  • Preparing quotes and processing invoices and payments

  • Liaising with patients, health funds, anaesthetists, and clinical staff

  • Maintaining accurate documentation and patient files

  • Supporting day-to-day front desk operations

About You

You're a confident communicator with a professional and caring approach. You enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can manage competing priorities with ease.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar patient services or medical admin role

  • Experience with health fund billing and theatre list preparation

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and patient management systems)

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills

  • A genuine passion for providing quality patient care

  • Current National Police Check and up-to-date vaccinations
