We're looking for an experienced Administrative Officer to provide high-level professional and administrative support within a respected public sector organisation. About the Role

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting business operations through advanced administrative and customer service delivery. You'll be responsible for managing enquiries, maintaining records and correspondence, processing transactions, and coordinating projects with accuracy and professionalism.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver advanced administrative and customer service support across multiple business functions.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external enquiries, providing clear, accurate, and professional communication.
  • Manage correspondence, prepare reports, and process financial transactions.
  • Coordinate information using Microsoft Office and business information systems.
  • Conduct research and compile data to support reporting and project outcomes.
  • Supervise and provide on-the-job training to support staff when required.
  • Contribute to team goals through effective collaboration and quality service delivery.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and administrative duties as needed.



About You

You're an adaptable and organised professional who brings initiative, sound judgement, and strong interpersonal skills to every task. You're comfortable managing competing priorities and take pride in delivering high-quality results in a dynamic environment.



What You'll Bring:

  • Significant experience in administrative support roles within a professional or customer-focused environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels.
  • Proven time management skills - able to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to conduct research, prepare correspondence, and manage projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in providing guidance or supervision to other staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital information systems.



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent workplace experience).
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.

Desirable:

  • Ability to obtain or hold a Commissioner for Declarations or Justice of the Peace qualification.
