In this pivotal role, you'll ensure our plant operates safely, efficiently, and reliably through proactive leadership, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the afternoon shift maintenance team, overseeing both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Drive a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with WHSE policies and procedures
  • Prioritize and assign maintenance work to align with production targets and operational needs
  • Manage relationships with third-party contractors, ensuring safety standards and documentation are maintained
  • Monitor team performance, foster development, and support ongoing training initiatives
  • Contribute to the implementation of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter, Industrial Electrician, or similar technical trade highly regarded
  • Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance within manufacturing, heavy industry, or similar environments
  • Previous leadership experience as a team leader or supervisor, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); SAP knowledge is advantageous
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong commitment to safety, environmental standards, and workplace wellbeing
