Located in Moorabbin, we're on the lookout for a proactive Fitter/Operator to join the production crew, playing a pivotal role in our operations.

Role Overview
In this unique hybrid role, you will be engaged as a Fitter/Operator, where your day-to-day responsibilities will oscillate between operating advanced machinery and performing maintenance tasks. This position is designed to keep your workday varied and interesting, reducing monotony and enhancing job satisfaction. You will work within a structured 7-day, rotating Day/Night roster (6-6) that ensures a healthy work-life balance, allowing for ample personal time and opportunities for overtime.

Roster Insights: The innovative 7-Day Roster operates on a 12-hour Day/Night rotating cycle, offering a predictable and balanced schedule. This system covers both day and night shifts and is designed to provide stability, ample off-time for personal activities, and the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime or additional shifts.

What's on Offer:

• Competitive Salary: $103,369.71 + Super, with an advancement opportunity to $109,042.80 for candidates with a D-Class Electrical License, not including a 20% shift loading. ($47.33 per hour, not including 20% shift loading for the 7-Day roster)

• Overtime Opportunities: Abundant OT available during off days, with a unique "Excess Hours" program allowing for additional pay or annual leave accumulation.

Ideal Candidate:

• 4+ years of experience in FMCG Machine Operation & Maintenance fitting, preferably within manufacturing, or blow moulding.
• Australian Recognised Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Toolmaking, or Mechanics.
• Experience in FMCG or Food Grade Manufacturing environments.
• Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Flexible to work as both an Operator and a Fitter.
• D-Class Electrical License & Forklift License (desirable).
