Drake Trades and Technical is excited to present a unique opportunity to join our client's Façade Access Division in Perth. This full time, permanent role allows you to work in a professional, safety first environment on high profile industrial projects. You'll perform inspections, maintenance, repairs and commissioning of high-rise façade access equipment, including BMUs and height safety systems, while working closely with a skilled, supportive team.

Candidates can be either electrical or mechanical trade qualified, making this a great opportunity for a variety of skilled technicians.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and annual inspections of BMUs and fall arrest systems.
• Carry out installation, mechanical assembly, and commissioning of façade access and height safety systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical or mechanical faults.
• Lead refurbishment and maintenance projects.
• Operate BMUs and provide operator familiarisation training.

Requirements:

• A grade electrical license or mechanical fitter with restricted electrical licence.
• Minimum 2 years' service/maintenance experience.
• Working at Heights, White Card and Dogman/Rigger tickets preferred.
• Full working rights in Australia and current driver's license.
• Strong teamwork, problem solving skills, and proactive attitude.
• Willingness to travel interstate as required.
