About the role:

Drake Medox is seeking a highly motivated Dental Hygienist in Melbourne Victoria, to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis. This position involves working with a range of patients, providing preventative dental care, and promoting optimal oral health. You will work closely with their experienced dental team, supporting them in providing comprehensive dental care.

Requirements

• Current Dental Hygienist registration with the Dental Board of Australia
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Previous experience in a dental hygiene role is preferred but not essential
• Availability to work on a temporary basis

Your key responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

• Perform professional teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
• Assess patients' oral health and take X-rays
• Provide advice on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
• Educate patients on proper oral care techniques
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide relevant treatment recommendations
• Work closely with the dentist and other team members to provide a seamless patient experience
• Ensure the dental room and equipment are sterile and organized

About you:

As a Dental Hygienist, you will have the following requirements:
