About the role:

As a Rostering Consultant, you will play a key role in managing the rosters of our clients, and liaising with both clients and candidates to ensure a seamless staffing experience. Drake Medox utilises an innovative dynamic rostering and CRM system and every day will be different. You will also work closely alongside our recruitment team to screen, interview and secure staff within the disability sector, adhering to best practice guidelines and maintaining candidate compliance to a high standard.


Your key responsibilities:

As a Rostering Consultant, your role is pivotal in understanding the staffing and rostering requirements for our clients in Adelaide and ensuring our client's programs are running effectively. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Managing the rosters of our homecare clients and arranging work schedules with all current staff
  • Filling emergency shifts and being the initial point of contact for shift or rostering inquiries
  • Approving timesheets/payroll for our workforce
  • Screening, interviewing and onboarding successful candidates
  • Providing support and guidance to our field staff working directly with clients
  • Building relationships with clients to understand unique staffing needs and maintain open channels of communication
  • Maintaining accurate candidate compliance records and meet requirements as per company standards

About you:

As the Rostering Consultant, you have a blend of interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a busy environment. Your excellent communication, attention to detail and strong relationship building skills will be at the forefront of your work, and you will demonstrate the following:

  • Outstanding customer service and administrative skills with a "can do" attitude with a sense of urgency around tasks
  • Previous experience working in the Disability Sector (desirable)
  • A positive, solution-focused mindset and motivation to achieve results with high attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and candidates
  • Capable of working autonomously and within a team
  • High verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation
