About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our Medox team! The role is focused on supporting NDIS participants to continue living at home and accessing the community. Due to the nature and complexity of the individuals' support needs, applicants must be able to demonstrate strong industry knowledge and communication skills.

Your positive attitude and passion for life will be an important aspect of your role.

Requirements for this Role

• Full assistance with our client's activities of daily living
• Social support and community access
• Personal care and mobility assistance
• Medication administration and clinical documentation
• Assist with NDIS goals and creative thinking to maximise their quality of life
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attend to day-to-day household chores.

Skills and Experience

• First Aid certificate and CPR - Mandatory
• NDIS worker screening check - Mandatory
• Car with Full Comprehensive Insurance and Drivers Licence - Mandatory
• Comprehensive understanding of Duty of Care and Scope of Practice - Mandatory
• Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or relevant qualification - Mandatory
• NDIS worker orientation module - Mandatory
• Manual Handling and Medication Assistance is desired (where needed)
