About the role

We have an exciting and rewarded support opportunity to share with you. Located in Rapid creek and Leanyer, you will be part of a care team supporting our clients.

As a disability support worker, you will work alongside Allied Health and Nursing teams to implement and maintain the clients personalised care and support needs, working towards each individual short- and long-term goals.

Your key responsibilities

  • Day time and evening shift opportunities, 7 days per week
  • Manual Handling
  • Personal Care
  • Medication Administration
  • Community Engagement and Social Support
  • Domestic Assistance
  • Allied Health led programs

About you

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience.

  • Dual Covid-19 vaccinations
  • Austism background
  • Experience with Restrictive practices
  • Current WA licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Down Syndrom background
  • Bowel care experience highly desirable

Essential

  • Complex behaviour management experience
  • NDIS screening check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Orientation certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • HLTWHS005 Manual Handling Certificate
  • HLTHPS006 Medication Certificate
