They are hiring a Registered Nurse for a permanent part-time position 2 days per week, offering a comprehensive training program, including orientation, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and team. This role involves assisting doctors with clinical procedures and delivering top-notch patient care, from developing care plans and assessments to managing health recovery and achieving overall health goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide high-quality care, including performing assessments, administering medications, and managing patient treatment plans.
- Clinical Procedures: Assist doctors with various clinical procedures and medical interventions.
- Care Plans: Develop, implement, and monitor individualised care plans for patients.
- Health Education: Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in medical records.
- Coordination: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Immunizations: Administer vaccines and maintain accurate immunisation records (if applicable).
- Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Equipment Management: Maintain and operate medical equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition and properly sterilised.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Unrestricted Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
- Qualifications as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in a General Practice Medical Centre is preferred.
- Previous experience with immunisations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Best Practice software is desirable but not required.
- Intermediate computer skills are needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of multitasking, working independently, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedicated to best practices, ethical conduct, and professional behaviour.
