As a key player in our team, you'll be partnering with top tier manufacturing organisations, supplying crucial materials to some of the largest and most ambitious projects in Victoria's history. Your expertise in welding will be instrumental in fabricating piling cages and steel reinforcements, the backbone of major construction projects. This is more than a job; it's a chance to leave a lasting imprint on Victoria's landscape through the Victorian Big Build initiative.

Key responsibilities:

• Specialise in the fabrication of Pile Cages, using Cross Heads and Ligs, and expertly operating Spindles and A Frames.
• Expertise in using Gigs and applying templates for precision in fabrication.
• Mastery in assembling L Frames and implementing Hydraulic framing techniques.
• Skilful operation of Overhead Gantry Cranes, enhancing efficiency and safety in our production processes.
• Transform complex blueprints into high-quality welded structures, maintaining utmost precision and quality standards.
• Drive efficiency and minimize waste in our advanced, factory-based fabrication setting.

Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in MIG welding and prefabrication of steel structures.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Welding Qualifications or Tickets Desirable (not essential)
