THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Representative will focus on selling advertising for the construction, agriculture, commercial, trucking and aviation industries within their territory. You will work with the General Manager to learn the sales side of the business and start out selling photo listings before moving on to bigger opportunities. There is the opportunity to develop into a manager role and take on more in training.

DUTIES

  • Responsible for selling the companies services and advertising to the dealers/stores and anyone that is buying or selling heavy equipment across construction, agricultural, commercial, truck and trailer and aviation industries.
  • You will put together the advertisement on an in-house system, uploading pictures, creating a description, and getting the inventory online.
  • You will be responsible for billing and ensuring payment is made with the customer.
  • Via company paid travel you will visit customers face to face interstate, 1 week per month, Sun - Thur.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • You will have 1-2 years Sales and customer service experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment with the ability to make calls, reach goals and hit KPIs to grow the publication.
  • The ability to take direction and adhere to company processes.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to connect with key stakeholders across the business
