MACHINIST

YOUR ROLE

As a machinist, you will deliver high-quality work using manual machine tools such as Centre Lathes, Surface Grinders, Universal and Turret Milling machines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proficiency in manual turning tasks involving tapers, screw threads, precise bearing diameters, and surface finishes.
• Adeptness in General Machining encompassing manual milling, slotting, surface grinding, and cylindrical honing.
• Application and interpretation of technical drawings, schematics, and dimensional tolerancing standards.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering high-quality work using manual machine tools, including Centre Lathes, Surface Grinders, Universal and Turret Milling machines.
• Skilled in comprehending and implementing quality control methods and techniques.
• While not mandatory, experience in programming and operating CNC Machines, particularly with Fanuc Controllers, is a strong asset.
• Possesses a safety-first approach.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSES

• Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications.
• A current C-class driver's licence
• A current High Risk Forklift Licence.
• A current First Aid certificate.
