About the role:

Our client is seeking service technichians to join their team on a permanent basis, commencing immediately in Perth.

As a Field Service Technichjian will support the wider Technician team in maintaining, servicing and repairing our clients (RVM) reverse vending machine installations to ensure maximum uptime & customer satisfaction. This role will focus on conveyors, sensors, mobile comms and other equipment. Whilst you will visit the Belmont head office and warehouse occasionally for administration and to collect spare parts, you will mainly be on the road acros Perth CBD.

The ideal candidate will have experience in either manufacturing or heavy industrial environments. Driving between locations is a significant part of the role, so a clean driving record and love for being on the road are essential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Conducting corrective servicing by analysing, diagnosing, and rectifying equipment issues to minimise downtime of RVM installations
  • Performing preventative servicing by servicing and maintaining installed equipment, including scheduled maintenance visits
  • Reporting on service assignments and faults, both online and on paper
  • Assisting in the installation and commissioning of RVM installations after completing training
  • Providing excellent customer service to shopping center staff, and occasionally to members of the public if required
  • Ensure that your equipment, spare parts and van kit is always complete according to inventory
  • Undertaking cleaning of equipment

About you:

  • Formal Electrical trade qualification and licence.
  • Previous experience interacting face to face with customers.
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities, especially in relation to mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment
  • Unrestricted driver's license and willing to submit a clear full driving history record
  • Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends (as required)
  • Based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne & Sydney CBD
  • Clear Police Check
  • Willingness to complete a a Drug and Alchol screening and medical
