Drake Albury are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator, looking for their next challenge. This is a permanent full time position based in Albury in their modern office facility. Our client supplies metal fabrications and offers site installations on mechanical projects for some of Australia's largest infrastructure projects.

The successful Project Coordinator will report to the Senior Project Coordinator.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for multiple structural steel projects at one time, ensuring that the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the clients projects; including organisation of the mechanical drawings, steel, freight, surface covering (galvanising / paint). Client comunication is paramount in the role and applicants must be able to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities -

Coordinating drawings, steel delivery, freight, and surface covering for your projects.

Coordinate fabrication of jobs with workshop team.

Negotiate with suppliers and customers.

Identify variations and reporting requirements.

General office administration using Microsoft Suite including - Outlook, Word and Excel.

Required Skills -

Must have experience in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings

Previous experience in project coordination.

Steel industry experience essential.

An engineering qualification and / or a metal trade background essential.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite including Word & Excel

A current driver's license.
