Role & Responsibilities:

This role is very technical and requires a sound knowledge in, plant maintenance including bearings, boilers and lubrication, maintenance and repairs. This position will provide technical calculations and resolutions to complex plant faults and breakdowns ensuring operations is at peak capacity and consistent.

  • Optimise Plant Performance: Apply your expertise in maintenance, leveraging a mechanical or chemical engineering background, to optimise the performance of the cutting-edge Plant.
  • Collaborate in Unique Setup: Work within the unique setup of the plant, strategically positioned next to a mill processing thousands of tonnes of recycled materials daily.
  • Sustainable Operations: Oversee the conversion of rejected waste into steam and electricity, contributing to the sustainable operations of the recycle mills.

Requirements:

  • Chemical/Mechanical Engineering Degree: 4+ Years post Graduate experience, with a specialised focus on mechanical or chemical engineering within simialr industries or sector.
  • Heavy Industry Experience: Previous proven experience in Renewable Energy, Manufacturing, Mining, or other similar Heavy Industries
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Showcase a proven ability to enhance plant performance and troubleshoot issues effectively. Strong technical engineering aptitude.
