About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate one of our homecare programs in Melbourne, Kensington VIC.

The role will be ideal for an individual with hands-on experience in acute settings and is looking to advance their career into coordination and management.

Duties:

  • Confidence to deliver training and mentorship for our healthcare workers
  • First point of call for clinical advice and enquiries
  • Conducting weekly shifts within the roster to support our client
  • Assisting staff with managing and troubleshooting their clinical skills including ventilator management
  • There is scope to work some of the hours from home with the majority to be worked from the clients home
  • 20-30 hours per week (including one shift on location with client)

The successful applicant will partner with our Clinical Nurse Coordinator and National Clinical team to ensure success in the role.

About you

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Valid Australian Drivers license
  • NDIS workers screening check
  • Sound understanding and demonstrated experience in acute settings
  • Exposure to patients with spinal cord injuries, catheters, ventilators, tracheostomy, and respiratory related matters
  • Encompass a confident and approachable leadership style

  • Medication and behavioural management
  • Manual handling
  • Equipment and safety checks
