About the role:

Drake Medox are currently recruiting calm, genuine, bubbly, and respectful Disability Support Workers, with a genuine passion for the industry to work with our male client with a spinal injury located in Narrabri. We are seeking Support Workers to assist our client to live as independently as possible in their own home. Immediate start for the right candidate with training and buddy shifts provided. We are searching for candidates that will be able to work AM shifts, PM shifts, as well as the weekend.

Duties:

· Personal Care

· Bladder and Bowel Therapy

· Manual Handling

· Medication Management and Administration

· Domestic Assistance

· Community Access and Social Support

· Promoting independence and assisting in reaching goals

About You:

· Genuine passion, care, and aptitude for assisting individuals living with a disability.

· Current NDIS Workers Clearance (or willing to obtain one)

· Current First Aid and CPR

· Drivers license

· Must be physical capable of providing manual handling support such as bed transfers using a lift and supported movements, allied health led therapy programs, etc.
