About the Role

Join a busy and exciting retail and online store based in Kedron, currently seeking a Sales Assistant / Pick Packer to join our team. This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You'll be assisting customers in-store, processing online orders, and supporting stock and administration tasks.

We're looking for someone who is fast, accurate, detail-oriented, and bubbly with a flair for customer service and the ability to learn quickly. If you're someone who thrives in a lively retail environment and enjoys helping customers find exactly what they need, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding face-to-face customer service in-store
• Assist customers with product selection and sizing
• Process sales transactions via POS
• Pick, pack, and dispatch online orders accurately
• Manage stock: receiving, unpacking, and putting away
• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and online chat
• Contribute to general store operations as required

Highly Regarded Skills

• Experience in online customer service (emails, live chat, phone orders)
• Website administration (Shopify or similar)
• Product listing on websites or eBay
• Strong written communication, including product descriptions
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data management

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' retail sales experience
• Previous POS experience
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
• Strong spelling, grammar, and numeracy
• Computer literacy and confident English communication skills (written & verbal)

Role Details

• Part-time: approx. 20 hours per week (including every Saturday, 10am-3pm)
• Must be available for full-time hours during October (peak season blackout - no leave available during this period)
• Potential for extension or further contracts for high performers
