We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to lead a vital role in our clients pioneering greenfield construction project. Role Overview:

  • Project Engineering Leadership: Lead and manage project engineering activities, ensuring all civil and structural aspects of the project are executed flawlessly. This includes overseeing the construction and installation processes, problem-solving, and ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Contractor and Team Collaboration: Work effectively with contractors and integrate seamlessly with other disciplines within the engineering team. Your ability to foster collaborative relationships will be key to the success of the project.
  • Scope and Cost Management: Develop and refine project scopes, including detailed cost estimates and resource planning, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and time constraints.
  • Technical Oversight and Compliance: Provide technical guidance and ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards and regulations. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and quality of the project.
  • Cross-Discipline Coordination: Liaise between various project teams, including construction management, design, and procurement, to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Project Completion and Handover: Oversee the project from inception to completion, including a smooth handover to operations teams, ensuring all project objectives are met.

Your Expertise:

  • At least five years' experience in project or plant engineering roles, preferably within the civil and structural engineering sector.
  • A broad base of experience in civil and structural engineering, including design, installation, and problem-solving.
  • Proven track record in working with contractors and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with large-scale industrial and manufacturing facility projects is highly desirable.

Your Qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering.
  • CPEng / RPEQ certification is preferred, or a willingness to obtain such certification.
