About the role:
Drake Medox is looking for exprienced Registered Nurses who are residing around Noble Park. Our client in Noble Park, requires experienced Registered Nurses to support them on an ongoing basis. Our client has an acquired brain injury who needs support with his everyday living tasks. We are looking for nurses who are available to work across the morning roster on weekdays Mon-Fri 8:00AM-6:00PM.

Our nurses will demonstrate teamwork and champion a safe and positive environment for our client and will be guided by a strong Allied Health presence. You will help us manage and maintain strong clinical standards and will be required to support our client in achieving their short and long-term goals.

Our ideal nurses will have proven experience with Acquired Brain Injury, mental health, challenging behaviours, and knowledge in self management.

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Personal care
• Medication administration
• Domestic assistance
• Full supervision of the client
• Self Management
• Community access
• Challenging Behaviours
• Sezuires management
• Continuous clinical assessment of client
• Support the client with activities at home and out in the community

About you

To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience (minimum 2 years)
• Manual handling experience (essential)
• Personal care experience
• AHPRA Registration
• Current accredited First aid and CPR
• Yellow card/NDIS Screening Card
• Manual handling certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Medication certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Right to live and work within Australia
• Full Australian Driver's License
• NDIS worker screener check
