Our client is managing cleaning services at an exhibition show in the heart of Canberra for their event 09/03/2025, 18/03/2025, and 19/03/2025 and require casuals to assist in a cleaning capacity as Event Cleaners.

Rostered shifts:

• Sunday 09/03/2025 - 6pm-11pm
• Wednesday 18/03/2025 - 6:30am-10:30am
• Thursday 19/03/2025 - 6:30am-10:30am

The Role:

• Mopping and sweeping of bathroom areas
• Toilet cleaning and re-stocking of toiletry items
• Emptying rubbish bins
• Sorting and moving waste into separate waste streams
• Cleaning high touch areas with disinfectant
• Maintaining and record keeping of cleaning logs

Essential Criteria

• Ideally candidates will have previous cleaning or event experience
• Good level of physical fitness required as you will be walking around the event
• Able to work autonomously and as a part of a team
• Able to follow instructions
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliability and flexibility

This is a great opportunity for some one-off casual work with the potential to be utilised for other one off events for this client in the future.
