About our client

Our client is a market leading sales and distribution business providing quality steel and aluminium products to the Australian marketplace. This company is committed to providing high quality processing capabilities, ranging from plasma cutting, shearing, slitting, and re-coiling to complex and precise router cutting. An integral part of their quality processes is to make sure test certificates are available and comply with the necessary standards.

We are currently seeking candidates with great flexibility and a good work ethic to assist our client in the steel industry.

You will be provided full training and induction prior to commencement of the role. This position is available for day and afternoon shift work, is located at Wingfield and will be an ongoing role for the right person.

Duties

• Production work
• Operating machinery
• Working steel bending, coiling, and cutting machines
• Splitting steel coils
• Operating an overhead crane

Skills & Experience

• Willing to learn.
• Good work ethic
• Flexible and self-motivated
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and healthy
• Hold a current Drivers' Licence and have reliable transport
