Drake International - have an exciting opening for an experienced Quarry Manager. Based in Albury NSW this role is working for a leading civil construction company.

About the role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the successful candidate will be leading a team to achieve outstanding service, production and maintenance of various local quarries and construction sites.
This permanent, full-time position will be based across our client's various quarries and civil construction sites. The role will also include undertaking production and maintenance on equipment, working on a large fleet of earth moving machines, a fleet of trucks and a crushing machine.

The role involves:

• Leading a strong safety focused environment working closely with all business operations.
• Operate various construction machines and crushing plant.
• Report, document and follow up any relevant machine faults or downtime.
• Leading a multidisciplinary team with the aim of driving an efficient and effective production process
• Effectively diagnose problems and perform work of a technical nature on a wide range of civil construction equipment if required.
• Adhere to all regulatory and contract specific requirements.
• Working as part of a team across multiple sites and consult with internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal maintenance team to ensure
• Prioritising tasks to ensure maximum machinery availability and minimise downtime.
• Strong customer service focus

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate IV in Surface Extraction and Operations
• Experience working with civil construction equipment or heavy vehicles would be highly regarded.
• Current Australian driver's licence - Medium Rigid (MR) and Heavy Rigid (HR) classes of vehicles (Desirable) but not essential.
