About the role:

Drake WellbeingHub is currently seeking a Clinical Intake Coordinator to join our team in this full-time, hybrid role based in our Sydney CBD office. You will be supported by our Clinical Support Team and Manager in offering a wide range of accessible, innovative and high-quality health and wellbeing solutions supporting individuals, teams and overall organisational wellbeing.

Your key responsibilities:

As a Clinical Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing referrals, case administration, and facilitating timely clinical support to customer organisations. Your key responsibilities will encompass the following:

  • Management of all EAP, Trauma Management, gambling assessments, and counselling clients, ensuring allocation of all referrals to the Drake WellbeingHub panel of clinicians throughout Australia and New Zealand
  • Respond to additional referrals, including manager referrals and check in calls as needed
  • Ensure relevant handover is provided to psychologists on call after hours, and following through with issues or referrals from psychologists who have been on call
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with providers & partner practices throughout Australia, New Zealand, and other locations to ensure optimum outcomes for clients
  • Maintain professional standards of accountability, ethics, and confidentiality in relation to all Clinical Support matters
  • Work as a key team member of the clinical practice, to identify gaps in geographic or service coverage, and areas for improvement as part of the quality assurance process

About you:

As the Clinical Intake Coordinator, your exceptional customer service skills, strong attention to detail and professionalism, will be at the forefront of your work, and you will demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that required tasks are met within set timeframes to a high degree of accuracy
  • High level of administrative and organisational skills, as well as capacity to prioritise tasks appropriately
  • Basic counselling skills, and the ability to remain objective and composed in response to sensitive information
  • Works well under pressure with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and stakeholders
  • Can work well autonomously and in a team environment
  • High level verbal and written communication skills
  • High level computer skills including database management and Microsoft Office Suite

Role requirements:

  • National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Mental Health First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
