We are seeking a Property Services Officer (APS5) to play a pivotal role in contributing to the strategic management of accommodation and facilities services for our esteemed federal government client. This position, based in Perth, involves collaboration within a small team to ensure the successful delivery of facilities management and accommodation services under the Whole of Government Property Service Provider Arrangements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively in a small team, responsible for property and business support services.
  • Provide high-level client service for property-related matters and act as an escalation point for property officers.
  • Follow up on issues, communicate outcomes to team members and managers, and escalate when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding property, fleet, and finance matters.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with the department's property service provider.
  • Update information with the implementation of new processes/policies, ensuring accuracy.
  • Draft building notifications and contribute to relevant communication channels.
  • Assist in monitoring the quality-of-service delivery and cultivate productive working relationships with building managers, clients, contractors, and staff at all levels.
  • Support the delivery of services to maintain the National Fleet Contract.
  • Process invoices and provide ad-hoc support as required.

Qualifications and Desirable Knowledge:

  • Understanding of The Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and associated rules.
  • Familiarity with the Commonwealth Property Management Framework (desirable).
